ABOUT LYLIA

In December 2018, when I was ten years old and my neighbourhood was gently becoming blanketed in snow, I began to notice many people living on the streets, alone, cold, and hungry.  I decided that I should not wait to help and started to design and hand-paint greeting cards on mixed-media paper, featuring what has become my special icon, tiny gnomes. I sold my cards and donated 100% of the proceeds to non-profit charities supporting people who are homeless and in need in my hometown Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

I am grateful for all the love, trust, and support that enabled me to establish my not-for-profit charity, Gnome for a home.
